What is EFT?
EFT is short for Emotional Freedom Techniques which is a form of psychological acupressure that used light tapping instead of needles to stimulate traditional Chinese acupuncture points. The tapping on the designated points on the face and body is combined with verbalizing the identified problem followed by a general affirmation phase. Combining these ingredients of the EFT technique balances the energy system and appears to relieve psychological stress and physiological pain. Spring is here... finally! And I am getting ready for the arrival of my baby boy. Pregnancy is exciting and intense, causing you to look deep within yourself to make sure your on the right track for the well-being of your child.
Up until the news of my pregnancy, I thought I was on a pretty good path. After all, self improvement, spirituality and holistic living... isn't that what we are suppose to do? Interesting how when I look at the past, present and potential future I see things with a different perspective. Not that all of the life style choices I was focused on are bad or wrong, but maybe not as spiritual as I thought?
It seems to me, being the best me is still important, but not just so that I can like myself more... Now it mean I can be the best mom I can so that another being has a chance to grow and flourish in a way that most pure little people never get the opportunity to.
Will I be able to put aside my fears and doubts, transend my old patterns and allow my unconditional loving nature to inspire my little boy to be his true potential. I'm sure it will at times be challenging, but I want nothing more then to experience this journey.
